Central Park carriage accident has left an 18 year old dead after a runaway horse caused a violent crash in one of New York City’s most visited parks. The incident happened on Wednesday afternoon and involved a horse-drawn carriage that lost control before striking another carriage near Tavern on the Green.
Central Park became the scene of the fatal accident after a horse suddenly bolted while pulling a carriage carrying a family group. Police said the driver was unable to regain control as the horse ran through the park at high speed.
