Wall Street trading firms pay big money for early access to presidential posts. Trump Media shared this update during its first earnings call with market analysts. The firm owns the Truth Social platform. Company leaders revealed that more than ten major customers signed up for the new data service.

Most of these new clients are high-frequency trading businesses. These firms use fast computers to buy and sell stocks in fractions of a second. They pay between sixty thousand dollars and one hundred thousand dollars each month. In return, they get a direct data feed. This tool is known as the Trump Media API Access connection.

The main goal of this paid feed is speed. The software sends posts to paying clients split seconds faster than the general public sees them on screen. In automated trading, tiny fractions of a second can create large cash gains. Computer programs look for sudden signals to trade assets instantly. By the time regular investors read the news, computer algorithms have already made their moves.

This quick feed is valuable because of who uses the platform. President Donald Trump is the most active and popular user on Truth Social. He routinely announces major government plans directly on his account. Sometimes these statements come out before his own staff members know about them. A single post about new trade taxes, military actions, or economic rules can shift stock prices fast. It can also change the price of oil and foreign money in seconds. Trading companies see these fast updates as a solid way to make quick gains.

The interim chief executive officer of Trump Media spoke to analysts about the results. Kevin McGurn noted that the company has already brought in its first payments from these contracts. He stated that leadership expects this service to grow into a steady income source over time. The company wants to expand the service beyond trading firms. McGurn said sales teams are talking to news networks and artificial intelligence developers. These large tech brands run massive computer systems that require huge feeds of fresh text to train models.

However, the rapid rollout of the feed created political backlash in Washington. Democratic lawmakers want government agency leaders to inspect the deal. Senator Elizabeth Warren and Senator Adam Schiff sent a joint letter to federal market regulators. They called the paid access plan a serious misuse of public presidential duties. The lawmakers asked regulators to check if the arrangement breaks basic market rules. They warned that giving early news to wealthy firms harms public trust. They noted that standard investors lose out when insiders get fast alerts.

This revenue push comes as the core platform faces financial tests. The business started five years ago as an alternative to mainstream tech networks. Yet user growth remains low compared to market leaders. Data shows Truth Social had roughly two hundred sixty-one thousand daily users last month. That figure is down forty percent from the previous year. By contrast, competing platform X recorded over one hundred twenty-three million daily users in the same month. Low traffic numbers have limited ad sales for the firm. The company brought in just under two million dollars in quarterly sales. At the same time, total losses reached two hundred thirty-eight million dollars for the period. That loss is much higher than the twenty million dollar loss reported a year earlier. Selling high-priced data feeds represents a fresh attempt to turn those numbers around.
