Authorities in Tucson, Arizona, are investigating a deadly shooting outside a well-known LGBTQ gathering place as a possible hate crime after two people were killed and the suspected gunman later died from a gunshot wound.
The shooting happened shortly after midnight on Monday in the parking lot of Venture-N, a long-standing gay bar in Tucson. Police identified the victims as 42-year-old Vincent Anthony Siqueiros and 33-year-old Cameron Davis Capara. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspected shooter, identified as 44-year-old Ousman Ceesay, was also found with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. Investigators have not yet released full details about how he sustained the injury and are awaiting findings from the medical examiner.
