Guéhi’s Late Header Lifts Crystal Palace to Fourth with Win Over Fulham

Crystal Palace continued their impressive run under Oliver Glasner as Marc Guéhi scored a late winner to seal a 2-1 victory over Fulham, sending Palace up to fourth place in the Premier League.

Eddie Nketiah marked his first league start of the season with a well-taken opener, finishing off a move sparked by Adam Wharton. Fulham hit back through a stunning Harry Wilson finish, combining beautifully with Raúl Jiménez before curling in with the outside of his boot.

Fulham pushed for a second, hitting the post through Calvin Bassey and briefly thinking they had scored again before VAR ruled Samuel Chukwueze offside in the buildup. Palace remained resilient and punished them late when Guéhi rose at the near post to head home from a corner, sparking celebrations in the away end.

The victory is another high point for Glasner, whose side has beaten Fulham three times this year despite a demanding schedule and missing the influential Daniel Muñoz. Fulham, meanwhile, were left frustrated after failing to turn pressure into points — a concern for Marco Silva, whose team remains inconsistent in attack.

For Palace, the dream of pushing even higher is alive. For Fulham, missed chances continue to sting.
